Grande Adds Pop TV and Fantasy Sports Network

SAN MARCOS, TX (SEPTEMBER 28, 2016) – Grande Communications, the Texas-based, industry-leading provider of high-speed internet, digital TV and phone services, announced today the addition of two new networks to its growing entertainment channel lineup.  Pop TV and Fantasy Sports Network will be added, effective October 1, and will be available for residential and business customers in Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Midland, Odessa, San Antonio, San Marcos, Temple, and Waco. 

Pop TV (channel 147), a joint venture of CBS Corporation and Lionsgate, is an entertainment channel focusing primarily on programs pertaining to popular culture.  The channel provides syndicated re-runs and original programming including Sing It On and, premiering in 2017, Hollywood Darlings and The Joey McIntyre Project. Residential customers with the Premier TV package and the Variety and Sports Plus Paks, and Business Customers with Digital Cable, will automatically receive POP TV on their channel lineup starting October 1.

Fantasy Sports Network (channel 242), dedicated to delivering programs focused entirely on fantasy sports 24/7, will automatically be added to the channel lineup for those Grande customers that have either the Residential Ultra Sports Pak or the Business Sports Tier package.

The addition of Pop TV and Fantasy Sports Network is part of Grande’s ongoing commitment to provide customers with the vast entertainment content and choices they are seeking.
