DALLAS, TX, September 6, 2013 - Grande Communications employees in the Lewisville office spent their summer in the giving spirit to gear up for September's National Hunger Action Month. Employees collected over 125 pounds of food over the course of an entire month, that was then donated to the Frisco Family Services‘ Food Pantry.
The Food Pantry, one of the agency's most utilized resources and distributes more than 463,000 pounds of food last year, enables clients to avoid hunger while using their limited financial resources for other essential needs. As a company spanning eight Texas markets, this was the 13th year that Grande has held a food drive and the Lewisville's office's ninth year of participation.
