GRANDE COMM LAUNCHES NEW COMMUNITY INITIATIVE IN S.A

SAN ANTONIO, TX, May 2, 2103 - Grande Communications, a Texas-based broadband communications company that offers internet, TV and phone services, announced that it has launched a new initiative in the San Antonio area called the Grande Community Ticket Program.

Grande's Community Ticket Program will strengthen and cultivate its involvement in the community by distributing complimentary tickets to San Antonio area sporting events and entertainment experiences to local charity partner organizations.

The program will provide these organizations with access to a variety of events this summer, including women's professional basketball games at the AT&T Center as well as theme- and water-parks such as Schlitterbahn, Splashtown and SeaWorld. In turn, these organizations will gain another opportunity to provide for and support the individuals they serve.

Grande has teamed with five local organizations to launch the program, including:

Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas - The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

Communities in Schools of San Antonio - The mission of Communities in Schools of San Antonio is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

Girls Inc. of San Antonio - Girls Inc. of San Antonio's mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold.

Project MEND - The Project MEND mission is to provide low-income persons with disabilities with refurbished, donated medical equipment and assistive technologies that will enhance their independence, self-sufficiency and mobility.

San Antonio Can High School - The mission of San Antonio Can High School is to provide the highest quality education for all students especially for those who have struggled in a traditional high school setting, in order to ensure their economic independence.

In addition to San Antonio, Grande has launched its Community Ticket Program in each of its markets throughout Texas earlier this spring, including Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Midland/Odessa and San Marcos. Waco will launch later this month.
