WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH CENTROVISION AND GRANDE COMMUNICATIONS? 

Centrovision is now part of the Grande Communications family.

WHEN DOES THIS CHANGE GO INTO EFFECT?

The purchase agreement between Centrovision and Grande is finalized.

Grande is now contacting Centrovision customers regarding transitioning them over to Grande products and services. Why did Grande think Centrovision was a good fit? This area of Central Texas (Bell County) is one of the fastest growing areas in the state with a population increase of nearly 35,000 people in the last five years. Expanding into this area is a natural progression for Grande, filling in the gap between our Waco and Austin communities. Grande is excited to be a part of this vital area of Central Texas and is proud to deliver these communities a choice.

WHERE DOES CENTROVISION PROVIDE SERVICE? 

Centrovision serves communities in and around Temple, Texas, including Morgan’s Point, areas around Lake Belton, Salado, Troy, Little River/Academy, Rogers and Moody, along with a few other small communities. Is there any overlap between where Grande offers service today and where Centrovision offers service? While both companies serve areas around Waco, there is no overlap in coverage area.

WHAT KIND OF SERVICE WILL I GET FROM GRANDE COMMUNICATIONS? 

Our network upgrade results in substantial technology improvements that will now deliver ultra-fast, reliable Internet services at much higher speeds than were previously available. You’ll also have access to more networks and more high-definition digital TV with Grande digital TV packages. 

DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING TO START GETTING MY INTERNET SERVICE THROUGH GRANDE?

Yes.  You need to sign up for Grande services and you will need to setup a new Grande email account.  For instructions on setting up your Grande email account, see http://mygrande.com/grande-email

WILL MY SERVICE BE INTERRUPTED DURING THE MOVE FROM CENTROVISION TO GRANDE?

After you have set up your Grande email, in order to avoid an interruption in your service, you must either call or come to the retail location listed below and select the product you would like to sign up for on Grande. If you do not sign up for Grande service, your email account service will end when the Centrovision service is cut off during the first quarter of 2016.

Again, in order to avoid losing service when the Centrovision service is cut off, you must contact us at 1-855-358-7900 or visit the retail center and sign up for Grande service.

HOW WILL I BE BILLED FOR INTERNET SERVICES FROM GRANDE?

Until we transition Centrovision customers into our billing system, Centrovision customers will continue to pay their bills as they do today, either by mail or in person. If you have any questions about your bill, Centrovision products, prices, etc., you will need to reach out directly to Centrovision customer service. Once the transition is completed, your bill will come directly from Grande Communications.

WILL MY EMAIL ADDRESS CHANGE WHEN IT IS MOVED TO GRANDE?

Yes. You will need to set up a new email with Grande. If your centrovision.net email address was jsmith@vvm.com, you will be assigned jsmith@mygrande.net unless this username is already in use. If your username already exists in the Grande email system, then you will be prompted to select another one. You have an unlimited number of tries to find the username you prefer and that is available. Once your username is confirmed, you will be shown a welcome screen to continue setting up your new email.

SHOULD AFFECTED CUSTOMERS CONTACT GRANDE OR CENTROVISION DURING THIS TRANSITION? 

Centrovision customers with a question about the service can contact 1-855-358-7900 during and after the transition. 

WHY IS MY INTERNET SERVICE BEING CHANGED TO GRANDE COMMUNICATIONS?

Grande Communications has acquired Centrovision. Grande Communications will now be your Internet Service Provider. All Centrovision subscribers will need to sign up for Grande service.  You may either call or come to the retail location listed below and select your new Grande services. Remember to sign up for your new Grande services to avoid any interruptions as Centrovision Internet service will no longer be offered.  Letters are now being sent from Grande with instructions. Or you may contact us now at 855-358-7900 or visit the retail center listed below and sign up for Grande service.

Again, in order to avoid losing service when the Centrovision service is cut off in 2016, you must contact us at 855-358-7900 or visit the retail center listed below and sign up for Grande service.

HOW WILL CENTROVISION CUSTOMERS’ PLANS/ RATES BE AFFECTED? 

Grande is now contacting customers via a letter in the mail with available plans and rates. With fast Internet speeds up to 400Mbps, Get-it-All Bundles and phone with unlimited calling that includes Mexico, Grande has a lot of new things that will be made available to Centrovision customers. We will make this transition for our new customers as quickly and smoothly as possible. 

WHAT IF A CENTROVISION CUSTOMER WANTS TO SIGN UP FOR GRANDE SERVICE TODAY? 

Centrovision customers will continue to receive Centrovision services until this migration is complete. If anyone in the Centrovision service area wishes to sign up for new service with Centrovision/Grande, they may do so at any time. Prior to a complete migration of the Centrovision network to Grande, Centrovision customers will continue to receive Centrovision services. Once we complete the network integration and transition customers to our billing system, we will notify existing Centrovision customers and reach out to the prospects in this service area about Grande services. Grande has begun sending out letters with more information about this process. The Temple retail location will stay in place and over the coming months, we will soon install a Grande sign. Customers can feel confident that this will be a seamless transition as two Texas-based companies come together. 

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE CENTROVISION EMPLOYEES?

Grande will be welcoming the Centrovision employees to its growing family.
