Grande in the Community

As a Texas-based company, we want to stay involved in the Texas communities that we service. We reach out to nonprofit organizations and schools, as well as civic and neighborhood groups to sponsor and participate in local initiatives. Over the years we have sponsored festivals, partnerships in education, youth activities, neighborhood cleanups, fun runs, food drives, health forums and many more events. Our goal is to help local residents and strengthen the sense of community and connectivity within the neighborhoods we service.

Check out what's going on with Grande in your community!

Grande Communications is proud to sponsor the Frisco Farmers Market.  Join us every Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm at 6048 Frisco Square Blvd, Frisco, Texas 75034. Open May 2 through October 17, 2015.

Started in 2007, the Frisco Farmers' Market continues to grow in popularity. The market was founded by the Frisco Noon Lions Club for the benefit of our community. Today, the market is managed by the Rotary Club of Frisco. Local growers offer juicy melons, peaches, vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh corn on the cob and lots more. Also offered are baked breads, meat from local ranchers, honey, arts and crafts, and various other products.

The market allows consumers to have access to locally grown, farm fresh produce, enables farmers the opportunity to develop a personal relationship with their customers, and cultivate consumer loyalty with the farmers who grow the produce. To find out more, please visit www.friscorotaryfarmersmarket.com

Big Give S.A.

Grande Communications is proud to be the media sponsor of the Big Give S.A. The Big Give S.A. is a 24-hour day of giving that will take place from midnight to midnight on May 5, 2015. With hundreds of local nonprofits represented over a dozen counties, there is certainly a cause to fit your passion.

The purpose of this community-wide giving challenge is to increase public awareness of the impact local nonprofits make in addressing our community’s social challenges, bring nonprofits and donors together, expand the idea of online giving, connect people to the causes that move them the most and, of course, make giving FUN. By turning giving into a shared region-wide experience, we can significantly impact the future of South Central Texas and make a huge collective difference. Last year’s event raised over $2,000,000 for 467 participating agencies! The Big Give S.A. is part of the national day of giving called Give Local America, which encourages communities across the country to come together on May 5th.  Please visit www.thebiggivesa.org for more information and to donate to your favorite non-profit.
